Who Benefits Allegations Against Bernie Sander’s Wife?

Jane Sanders, the wife of Bernie Sanders, has been subject to investigation for Bank Defrauding when she was the president of Burlington College. She had been the president of the college during the years between 2004-2011.

It is alleged that Ms. Sanders falsified the donation documents of the college in order to be paid by the bank with a higher amount of loan. According to the report by Daily Caller, she is accused of overstating the amount expected by donors in 2010. As the Daily Caller writes:

Sanders allegedly told the bank that the college would receive $2.6 million in donations in order to secure a $6.5 million loan. However, only a quarter of the expected donations, $676,000, was raised over the next four years.

The College, then, was not able to manage the debts and was force-closed after recurrent warnings and “crushing weight of debt in May 2016. Although the donors rejected the vow for the payments registered for the loan, there seems to be a plot underway against the sanders.

Carol Moore, the next president of the college was the one announcing Ms. Sanders responsible for the debts for the first time. Ms. Moore is said to have connections with President Donald Trump. The accusations against Ms. Sanders was announced for the first time in January 2016 during his husband’s campaigns for presidency. Bernie Sanders rejecting the allegations then, said:

His implication came from Donald Trump's campaign manager in Vermont. Let me leave it at that because it would be improper at this point for me to say anything more.

The plot seems to have been planned by Trump campaign and continuing it now is to denigrate Bernie Sanders whose name is still the first to strike the mind of Democrats for 2020. President Trump may want to secure himself for the next election from now.
