Adding a brutal war to the mix is pushing the country into catastrophe. The behavior of the Saudi coalition gets a lot more press: It has bombed humanitarian warehouses, medical clinics, schools, bridges along key humanitarian aid routes, commercial food and water facilities, water infrastructure, and several of the ports used for humanitarian imports. And despite U.N. pressure, the Saudis have shown little concern for the civilian impact of their operations, even to the point of famously bombing a widely attended funeral in Sanaa, killing more than 100 people.
Before the campaign event in South Carolina, Trump accused Saudi Arabia of being behind the 9/11 attacks. “Who blew up the World Trade Center?” Trump asked on the morning of February 17, 2016. “It wasn’t the Iraqis, it was Saudi — take a look at Saudi Arabia, open the documents.”
After going from implicating them in the worst terror attack ever to take place on US soil, Donald Trump is now best buds with the terrorist regime in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is responsible for the death of 2,369 Americans — yet Trump is dining with them last weekend.
According to the White House, the agreement will help Saudi Arabia face and fight terrorism in the Middle East.
Left unmentioned is the fact virtually all terror groups in the Middle East—including the Islamic State, al-Qaeda, and al-Nusra (now Jabhat Fatah al-Sham)—subscribe to the Wahhabi version of Sunni Islam and would not exist without the assistance and encouragement of the Gulf Emirates.
At the end we should declare this fact that Trump just like Obama, is curtsying to the terrorist Saudi Arabian regime and selling them weapons which are in turn used to kill innocent women and children. Just like Obama, Trump is continuing war, and in fact, doubling down.
