Oil has been playing a key role in international relationships since the mid-twentieth century. Middle east, rich with oil, has been the ground for much of worldwide conflicts. There are, however, other parts of the world where the earth is rich with oil reservoir. Atlantic Ocean in Latin America is one of these spots with oil resources exceeding Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
While the middle east has been the arena of a manifest war and disputes over the wealth of oils, the war on oil in Atlantic Ocean goes on in blackout. The Unites States, Israel, and the United Kingdom are the main role players in sort of a silent colonialism of the region. For the Unites States, the northern parts of Latin America with borders closer to its vicinity and resources of oil is more important than the other sections.
The recent chaos in Venezuela and the confirmed role of America and its allies is indicative of the plans it has for the oil sources of the country. They are empowering the opposition in the country to have a local aide helping them reaching their political and economic agenda. The end of Chavez ideology in Venezuela is the only way the US and its allies can penetrate the country.
As with Israel, the land is much more important than oil sources. Israel works on Patagonia, a region shared between Chile and Majorly Argentina. Israel’s plan for Argentina is sort of a new colonization based on the model it occupied Palestinian lands. With Macri taking the office in 2015, it got easier for Israelis to promote their plots for Patagonia using different methods to fill the land with Israelisand evacuate it of locals.
Today, about 55 synagogues are in Buenos Aires, along with about 70 Jewish educational institutions and 20 kosher restaurants. Buenos Aires also is home to a replica of the Anne Frank house, the only one outside of Amsterdam, as well as the only kosher McDonald’s outside of Israel.
Fertile as it is both nature-wise and colonization-wise, Patagonia has turned into the main center of planning for Israelis to base another promised land.
For the third party, the UK, southern part of Latin America is more important. Latin America and especially the eastern part with rich oil sources has always been tempting for the old colonizer. Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) in South Atlantic Ocean are still a colony of the UK. The islands are posited in the Patagonian shelf with few residents but a central government. These are the controversial islands over which there was a war in 1982 between Australia and the UK, the latter was the winner.
The UK will by no means be convinced to forsake the rich region with its fantastic geopolitical position in the world. The triangle of the US, Israel, and the UK are trying to plan for the future of Latin America in the long run. Exploiting the oil sources, occupying the fertile lands, and controlling the independent countries of the region are among the main agenda the three countries bear in mind.
