The first Israeli air strike in Yemen targeted a training camp in Taiz province west of Yemen, the spokesman of the Saudi defense ministry, al-Asiri was quoted as saying.
The site quoted Asiri as saying, ““… in this crucial time we are in dire need of Tel Aviv’s military prowess to curb Iran’s slow but gradual encroachment in Yemen. I hope this felicitous Israeli intervention in Yemen would harbinger a new dawn in Arab-Israeli partnership and the entire world shall witness the comradeship and amicable relation between the armies of kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Israel,”al-Okaz cited Maj. Gen. Al-Asiri as saying.”. He said that it is going to be new dawn of relations between the Arab countries and Israel, according to the website.
The Saudi Arabia has found itself unable to defeat the Yemenis after 28 pilots of f-15 jets were killed with the Russian missiles.
Al-Asiri was also quoted as saying that a Boeing 747 aircraft carrying weapon landed at Khamis Mushayt military base to assist the Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni joint forces as per the website.
The site further claimed that there were secret negotiations between Israel and Saudi Arabia over the provision of air aid to the coalition to defeat the Yemeni revolution forces, but the website did not mention the source of the al-Asiri statements and about the time.
