Bin Zayed assigned 12 percent of UAE’s trade share with South East Asia to Germany

Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE’s Economy Minister said in an interview:
“We’re negotiating to create balance in UAE’s relations with the European Union and South East Asia. We made good agreements in the field of technical equipments. If we implement the agreements, up to 12% of our technological needs from South East Asia countries, especially Chinese companies, and companies like Samsung and LG will be reduced.
UAE is considered as a hub (the largest transit center and the harbor area) for the entry and exit of goods from the countries of Southeast Asia and Europe and rest of the world.
After a one-day visit to Saudi Arabia, Angela Merkel and her trade delegation visited Abu Dhabi. They held successive meetings with the officials about increasing political and commercial relations.
