‘P’ like Palestine, ‘P’ like Patagonia

Since 1948 when the country named ‘Israel’ was created occupying Palestinian lands, various news about violation of international laws have been reported. From the mid-twentieth century to the early-twenty first, war crime in different forms took place in Palestine. Numerous resolutions by the U.N. led to no change in Zionists’ behavior.

War crime, by definition, is any act that violates the Geneva convention in specific or any other international humanitarian law. Israel is a signatory of Geneva convention but its crimes in Palestine through the years prove that they find no point in remaining committed to their signature. From killing and targeting non-combatant men and women to moving towards a genocide by massive children massacre, Israel shows no mercy about the type, gender, or age of the target.

Moreover, Against the U.N. resolutions, the Zionists are still continuing and expanding settlements in Palestinian lands. It is estimated that more than 70% of Palestine has been occupied so far and they are still trying to occupy more lands.

Palestinian Loss of Land: 1946 - 2014

1946 was two years before around 1 million Palestinians were expelled from their homes to make room for the occupiers. Israel is building a fascist wall to separate itself and its resources form Palestinians. Palestinian refugees are not even allowed back to line in their home countries.

The crimes of Zionist Israelis are not limited to their conventional and military violations. Violence has become a permanent and overarching feature of Israel. They have gone so far that one of their chief rabbis, confirmed by some others, announced that military forces are allowed to rape women in wars. Raping a student girl by a rabbi was perhaps an ice-breaker for the soldiers. Palestinians’ agonies in the seventh decade of occupation by Israel are far more than containing in one article.

The new plan of the Israel, not temporally, is to extend their occupation to other continents. Patagonia, a shared region between Argentina and Chile is the new destination for the Zionist occupiers. Netanyahu’s plan to visit Argentina on 17th of March is far beyond a political tie between the two countries. Israel PM, using the media, has already started to encourage Zionist Jews to travel and live in Patagonia.

The Chilean and mainly the Argentinian people must be aware of the ongoing movements if they don’t want their country to become a new Palestine. Palestine’s youngsters and children are being punished for the negligence of their ancestors. The fate of new and next generations of Argentina depends on the awareness of the people living now. Occupations, murder, felony, humiliation, rape, and exile; These will not be pleasant heritage for the next generations.
