Elton John, the British famous singer, sympathized with Palestinians in the opening ceremony of The Walled-Off Hotel in Palestine. This message was sent and played for those who attended the ceremony. He opened his words with: “I would’ve loved to have been with you all tonight but you know, there wasn’t any room at the inn”, referring to the limited number of rooms at the hotel.
Elton John also sympathized with Palestinian people and expressed his pleasure in having the honor to play for them. His words about the Palestinian nation and asserting that they are neither alone nor forgotten was warmly welcomed by the audience at the ceremony.
It’s my great pleasure to be playing in Palestine this evening. Please know that you are not alone. You are not forgotten.
The Walled-Off Hotel is located in the Palestinian city of Bethlehem. The Hotel is built by Banksy, the British graffiti artist, with special features. All the room windows of the hotel open to a security fence. Each room has its own exclusive theme and is painted uniquely. The hotel is famous to have the world’s worst view ever.
Since Trump’s presidency, various artists has expressed their feelings for Palestine and condmned the suffers imposed on it. The naked fascism of Donald Trump was so enlightening that no one, even in colonialist countries, could neglect it.
