Donald Trump sent a tweet on Saturday which implied that if... Well, just read it for yourself:

It's speculated the tweet was in response to a rally against him organised instead of an Oscar's party, at which Jodie Foster spoke.

She addressed 1,200 protesters about freedom of expression:

We know the first attack on democracy is an assault on free expression and civil liberties and this relentless war on truth. Unfortunately, it's too familiar because history repeats itself. No matter where you're born and no matter who you voted for, red or blue, whether you're white, black or brown and all the colours of the identity rainbow - this is our time to resist.

It's our time to show up and demand answers. It's our time to tell our elected officials to do their job.

Donald Trump's supporters rallied in response to his tweet about organising the base.

St. Augustine, Florida:

And then, of course, there was the inauguration, where crowds were noticeably thin.

But that's a bit of a sore point, isn't it?

President Donald Trump was inaugurated on 20 January following an electoral college win that was among the weakest in the history of the presidency, having lost the popular vote.
