The Government of the United Arab Emirates, has banned Taliban against travelling to the country to attend the funeral of the country’s ambassador who was killed in the attack in Kandahar.
According to the Middle East News Agency, the Afghan government has also welcomed the move and views this kind of approach as a means of isolating the armed Taliban.
The Executive President of the National Unity Government says that the Afghan has welcomed the move by the United Arab Emirates to cut ties with the armed Taliban. He also says that this matter shows that the terroristic groups have been isolated and this action will destroy them.
The source considers any ties with the terrorists as dangerous for the region and the world and said that any ties with the terroristic group will only help in making them stronger.
Juma Mohammad Al-Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan who was wounded last month in a bomb attack in a provincial governor’s guest house in Kandahar, passed away in last week due to severe injuries.
