I'm so so so glad Moonlight won. More diversity. More recognition for diverse stories written by people of color. #oscars— Chelsea (@chelsdawnf) February 27, 2017
#OscarsSoBlack began trending on Twitter:

Because Davis and Ali, who between them won a Bafta, a Tony Award, a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Movie Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award...to name a few - are "untalented".
35% of nominees are black this year which is an over representation. Hollywood is forcing untalented actors down our throats.#OscarsSoBlack— Archibald (@MeatheadBunker) February 26, 2017

But, we're happy to report, people have been#OscarsSoBlack:
Diversity is a good thing. It allows a different perspective. If you shutout a culture you'll never understand or accept it #OscarsSoBlack— nubianbrotha (@nubianbrotha) February 26, 2017
