Human Rights Watch has announced that Israel will not allow HRW members to enter the occupied territories, declining their entry visas. The decision was confirmed by the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
According to the NGO, the Israeli government has accused it of being “fundamentally biased” against Israel, which is why it declined to issue a Visa for the international organization’s senior inspector.
Human Rights Watch has published several reports criticizing Israel of “Occupying the Palestinian Occupied Territories”. The Israeli government replied to these reports by saying that Human Rights Watch is not a “True” defender of human rights.
It is of note that HRW has placed many Palestinian organizations such as Hamas under criticism.
