Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered at Sydney’s streets on Thursday protesting Israeli regime’s actions as the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived to Australia.
The protesters called Netanyahu as a ‘war criminal’ carrying placards and called for his detention.
Speakers at the event asserted that Israel violates Palestinians’ rights and suppresses their protests.
A number of participants had banner featured depictions of Netanyahu as German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
The number of participants were estimated more than 3,000 people. They chanted slogans “End the blockade on Gaza” and “End the occupation”.
Netanyahu arrived in Australia on Wednesday, and signed several trade agreements with the country. Similar protests were held in Sydney the other day.
