Bahraini media only covered the news that Bahraini security forces tried to disperse demonstrators in Lulu square, which has been the center of Bahrainis’ uprising since 2011, on Friday.

Hundreds of protesters in many regions in Manama and its surrounding residential townships were shot and sprayed with tear gas.

On Friday, security forces clashed with protesters in al-Sanabs, al-Dayah and Jed Hafs regions. According to the initial statistics, 3 protesters were arrested.

Thousands of Bahrainis gathered in Lulu square as participating in nationwide protests, last Thursday. They tried to keep alive the memory of Bloody Thursday Feb. 17 2011, that security forces killed four people and injured hundreds of protesters.
